Alton Robinson, a defensive end committed to Texas A&M, was arrested Tuesday morning. Robinson, who is the top recruit in San Antonio, Texas, was charged with robbery after an alleged incident involving an ex-girlfriend. Robinson’s ex-girlfriend told police that she returned home from Walmart to see the 6’3″, 220-pound Robinson hiding in the bushes. Via KSAT:

"She told Robinson that they could talk inside the home, saying that she felt safe because other people were inside, according to the affidavit. The ex-girlfriend told investigators that she was walking in front of Robinson toward the house when he grabbed her purse and ran away. "

The woman fell down during the struggle and Robinson eventually dropped the purse and just left with her cell phone. She also said that there was a similar incident last Spring where he took her purse from her car.
