New Clippers Mascot Chuck the Condor Is Adequate

The Clippers unveiled their new mascot, Chuck the Condor, at halftime tonight. In this day and age we’re supposed to have strong opinions about everything right away, but I don’t find myself leaning one way or another on this one.

Chuck is non-threatening. He’ll be a hit on the birthday party circuit and you can bring him to executive luncheons and charity events when kids are around. You could use him to sell cereal. Upon first glimpse, he doesn’t look like a first ballot Hall of Famer either.
