Tiger Woods destroyed rumors that he is almost bedridden with a video on Twitter, and may be in much better health than we think. According to Jack Nicklaus, Tiger “looks good,” and “misses playing.” Nicklaus hosted a Ryder Cup dinner on the Thursday night of the Honda Classic that Woods was able to attend.

"“He looked very good,” Nicklaus said Sunday in the media center at PGA National. “He looked very healthy, and he really misses playing.” “He says he was feeling good, and he was feeling great, and he was able to stand over a putt and chip now without having any leg pain and so forth,” Nicklaus said. “We didn’t really talk a whole lot about it … He doesn’t have a timetable for returning or anything.”"

Wait a minute, leg pain? I thought this was a back problem. Is Tiger like a LEGO man now with detachable body parts?

Even though Jack didn’t really elaborate on the details, he made sure and reiterated the company line of “no timetable for returning.”

"“I think he’s pretty private about what his situation is, and I don’t blame him, because every time he opens his mouth, there’s nothing but articles written about speculation about Tiger.” “So [I said] I wish you well, and I hope you get healthy, hope you get to play, hope you get out there as soon as you feel like you can play,” Nicklaus said. “I hope you do well.”"

Of course there’s nothing but articles written about Tiger’s health. This is an article written about Tiger’s health that doesn’t include any words from Tiger himself in it. Granted, Jack is the GOAT, but still, Tiger attempting to keep his health private so articles won’t be written is like trying to shut off PC Twitter. There’s just not a switch for that.

It would be nice to get an update directly from the Big Cat’s mouth. Maybe that would lay to rest some of the rumors about his condition, but I guess we’ll have to settle on updates from legends like Jack.

Sigh.
