Brock Osweiler is signing with the Houston Texans, according to Adam Schefter. Denver lost Peyton Manning to retirement just this week, and the guy who replaced him while hurt is also opting to go elsewhere.

It’s an interesting move for Houston–I’ll have more on that in a bit–and represents the largest investment they’ve made in the position since they went out and traded for Matt Schaub. It also raises questions in Denver. Robert Griffin III now on the Broncos’ radar? We shall see.

UPDATE: Adam Schefter says 4 years, $72 million–

Though we know there is no chance that number is correct in terms of what he will collect. If it is, you can completely understand why Denver wouldn’t be in the bidding. No guaranteed number reported yet.
