Emmanuel Sanders Looking to "Napoleon Dynamite" to Answer Denver Broncos' Quarterback Uncertainty

Peyton Manning has retired. Brock Osweiler has left for big money in Houston. The Denver Broncos face uncertainty at the quarterback position. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders may have the answer — and it may come in the form of a fictional movie character whose popularity peaked a decade ago.

Sanders makes some solid points about Uncle Rico’s comfort playing at altitude. Rico is unproven at the NFL level but has proven time and time again that he doesn’t lack for confidence.

Maybe an outside-the-box idea is just what John Elway needs. Rico would probably settle for a reasonable, Matt Flynn-like contract. Plenty of upside here.
