Tottenham is playing Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League Round of 16. Tom Carroll went to control the ball, and caught Marcel Schmelzer in the face.
Carroll received a yellow card, probably the right decision. Schmelzer, we suspect, received some lingering pain in the facial area. Ouch.
