North Dakota beat Michigan on Saturday, 5-2, to advance to the Frozen Four. Senior forward Drake Caggiula got the scoring started when he put home his own rebound with 1:06 left in the first period. The goal was nice, but the hit the referee put on him after the goal was amazing.

As Caggiula skated behind the net, he was met by a referee who absolutely flattened him. Caggiula was taken off his feet and helped up by a teammate who patted the bemused referee on the head.

UND will play Denver in the Frozen Four on Thursday. No word on whether Caggiula will get another shot at the referee.
