VIDEO: Nigel de Jong Delivered Yet Another Cringe-Worthy Tackle

The Portland Timbers played the LA Galaxy last night. USMNT player Darlington Nagbe was stretchered off in the second half, after this horrific tackle from Nigel de Jong. Somehow, de Jong was not red carded for that.
This was hardly the first such incident for de Jong. He memorably karate kicked Xabi Alonso in the chest during the 2010 World Cup Final.
He broke Stuart Holden’s leg during a USMNT friendly in 2010.
He also broke Hatem Ben Arfa’s leg playing for Manchester City in 2010.
De Jong features on just about every dirtiest player in soccer list. It’s not hard to figure out how he earned the nickname “the lawn mower.”
