Barcelona will not repeat in the Champions League. Atletico Madrid won the second leg 2-0 at home, edging the Catalans 3-2 on aggregate. Antoine Griezmann provided both goals.
This is Atletico Madrid’s second trip to the Champions League semifinals in three years. They lost the 2014 final to rival Real Madrid.
