VIDEO: Islanders' Casey Cizikas Punched Aaron Ekbland in the Groin

With a 2-0 lead and less than 90 seconds remaining, it was clear the Florida Panthers would be evening the series with the New York Islanders at a game apiece. The only thing left for the Islanders to do before getting on a plane north was to deliver a message. Casey Cizikas did just that with a low-blow punch to Aaron Ekbland’s groin.
Cizikas walked away with two minor penalties. Ekbland walked away further convinced of the importance of a protective cup.
We’ll see if this cheap shot earns a suspension. Based on several macho hockey memes I’ve seen lately, it will not because those guys are warriors.
