Valero Texas Open TV Schedule, Tee Times, Odds: Can Bryson DeChambeau Win This Week?

The Valero Texas Open starts on Thursday at JW Marriott TPC San Antonio. Last years winner, Jimmy Walker, is grouped with Zach Johnson and Justin Leonard. New PGA Tour star Bryson DeChambeau, whose bandwagon I have fully attached myself to, is starting his second event as a pro. DeChambeau gained entry into the event after a top 10 finish at the RBC Heritage last week allowing him to save one of his seven sponsors exemptions remaining this season for a later event.

Also in the field is Phil Mickelson, who had a very disappointing Masters but should fare well here, along with last week’s winner Branden Grace and runner-up Luke Donald.

My Pick

I should probably just put Bryson DeChambeau here for the rest of the season. I think it’s only a matter of time until he collects his first win and earns Tour status.
