Not Sure How I Feel Watching Derek Jeter Fake a Hole-in-One

It’s difficult to watch Derek Jeter run a sports blog after captaining the New York Yankees for two decades. Watching a man go from the top of the mountain to basically having the same job as Jason McIntyre is a tough pill to swallow.

Now that’s he’s out there willingly doing fake hole-in-one skits, his regression to the mean is complete. I know this is probably for charity but how are we supposed to look at Jeter the same way?

His retirement and engagement have softened the stone-cold killer within.

Remember him for what he was, not what he’s become.
