People are loving this kid who patrolled the London Marathon offering high-fives and then withdrawing his hand. And who wouldn’t? What a hilarious prank. Extremely creative and well-executed.
So, sure, this little guy is a jerk in need of stern parenting. But he’s also making a very valid point about the excess feel-goodery that surrounds a marathon. What motivates people to go stand outside and clap for complete strangers who paid money to run a ridiculous distance?
For his next act, the London brat should employ a prop.
