Matt Leinart had one of the best collegiate careers for a quarterback ever. The Heisman Trophy-winner at USC won a few national titles and wound up being the 10th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. While his pro career didn’t really pan out, Leinart has successfully pivoted to become an analyst for the Pac-12 Network. Oh, and he’s clearly taught his kid a few things about playing quarterback.

That’s video of Leinart’s nine-year-old son Cole, and as  you can see, the kid has a pretty great arm for his age. The above tweet was a response to another posted by Bleacher Report of a 10-year-old launching a deep ball.

We’re going to go ahead and put money down that Leinart’s old offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will be calling in to offer Cole a scholarship any day now. Kiffin has a history of that kind of thing.
