Miguel Cabrera is a future Hall of Famer and one of the best righthanded hitters to ever step into a batter’s box. He’s also an enormous goofball.
While chasing a pop fly down the first-base line Thursday night against the Cleveland Indians, Cabrera decided to reach out and touch someone. Specifically, an unsuspecting fan. It went well.
Something about that section of fans at Progressive Field brings out the joy in Cabrera. Last year he and a youngster shared another memorable moment of bonding.
Another reason for Indians fans to love Miggy? His team is physically incapable of beating Cleveland (0-6 on the year).
