Will Wilcox Bought the Media Beer After His Ace on 17 at The PLAYERS Championship

Will Wilcox made an ace on the par-3 17th island green at TPC Sawgrass during the second round of The PLAYERS Championship. Wilcox’s achievement is pretty spectacular considering it’s been 14 years since the last ace on 17 and there have only been seven hole-in-ones since 1983. After his round, Wilcox made sure to take care of the media and had beer sent over during the weather delay and, according to Alex Myers of Golf Digest, later stopped by for a drink himself.
