Adrian Beltre’s ability to hit home runs while dropping down to one knee is unique and captivating. Who could forget his at-bat in the 2011 World Series where he dropped down to a knee on three different pitches before blasting one into the left-field seats?
Okay, maybe a few people have forgotten, but it’s amazing when he does it.
Tuesday night Beltre outdid himself by blasting a 429-foot bomb to centerfield while getting low.
Can’t imagine how demoralizing this must be for the gopher-ball-surrendering pitcher. Guess there’s some solace in knowing he’s a future Hall of Famer.*
