Troy Flutie, the nephew of Doug Flutie, was charged with drunk driving in Natick, Ma. and has reportedly been suspended from Boston College’s football team. The MetroWest Daily News details:

"A police report said Troy Flutie, 20, of 29 Pine St., Natick, didn’t realize he had crashed his car into a curb early Saturday morning, denied to a police officer that he had been drinking, and lost his driver’s license for 180 days after refusing to take a Breathalyzer test."

Flutie, who is 20 years old, allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests, and the arresting officer wrote that “I found him to be very unsteady on his feet as he veered off to his right and walked in the middle of the road.”

Flutie played quarterback for BC last season – he completed 24 of 49 passes for 382 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 INT – and was converted to wide receiver this Spring.
