George Springer Hits Foul Ball into Funnel Cake Fryer

George Springer hit a long foul ball onto the concourse during last night’s Orioles – Astros game. The ball bounced into a funnel cake fryer. Root Sports reporter Julia Morales went and fished it out and told viewers that it was both warm and smelled like grease. The funnel cake stand was shut down for some reason. I’m not sure what could be on a baseball that a deep fryer couldn’t kill, but I guess this is America in 2016. Sad.
