Guess who? Clint Dempsey headed in a cross from Jermaine Jones. The U.S. leads Ecuador 1-0 in the Copa America quarterfinals.
This is Dempsey’s third goal of the tournament and 52nd of his USMNT career. The 33-year-old has been involved in all but one of the American goals this tournament.
Folks calling for him to be dropped have gone quiet.
