Croatia dominated their match against Czech Republic for 75 minutes. Alas, they play 90. Croatia were rolling up 2-0. Then, Milan Skoda pulled one back for the Czech Republic in the 75th minute to make it 2-1.

Domagoj Vida was called for a handball in the box. Tomas Necid converted the penalty. The Czech Republic snatched away a 2-2 draw, and kept their tournament alive. A Croatia win would have put them through, before playing Spain.

Besides the lost points, Croatia may be facing anoter sanction from UEFA over crowd trouble.
