Irish Fans Sing Along To Italian National Anthem Before Euro 2016 Match

Irish soccer fans are known for being awesome. No, seriously, they are the absolute best. Whether fixing dents they accidentally created in cars, having fun with a Hungarian reporter or chanting “Go home to your sexy wife” to Swedish supporters, Irish soccer supporters are just wonderful.

They kicked things up another notch on Wednesday.

Before their team’s crucial final Group E clash against Italy, Irish fans gave us one of the best moments of Euro 2016 so far. As the Italian national anthem blared over the loudspeakers at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille, the Irish fans actually clapped and sang along with their Italian counterparts. The entire stadium sang “Il Canto degli Italiani” in full throat. Take a look:
