This week we’ve got another WGC event with a fully loaded field. The WGC-Bridgestone Invitational starts on Thursday at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Dustin Johnson is coming off of his first major tournament win at one of the toughest courses in the country and will be looking to carry that through to this week, but he’s got some pretty tough competition.

My Pick

I was feeling confident after picking DJ to win the U.S. Open and went with Rickie Fowler last week because I thought it was his time to bounce back, and he did during the first two rounds, but then fell off again. This week I’ll roll with Brooks Koepka. He finished tied for sixth last year at Firestone and hasn’t finished worse than T13 in last three starts. He’s also finished tied for second twice in his last three events. Seems like he’s ready to collect a win this season.
