Dustin Johnson collected his first win in a major championship at the U.S. Open at Oakmont just two weeks ago and after a week off he’s returned and collected another win. Johnson came from behind on Sunday to win the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone. This is the third World Golf Championship event Johnson has won.

Johnson moved up to number three in the world golf rankings after his win at Oakmont, and will now head to Royal Troon and The Open Championship not only as a major champion, but with another solid win under his belt against a great field.

It’s quite obvious that Johnson’s win at the U.S. Open may have sparked his confidence, which is something many of us thought would happen once he got that monkey off of his back.
