Jon Jones has been removed from UFC 200 thanks to a positive test for a banned substance. On Friday we learned that Jones requested his B sample be tested to verify the results, and that test also came up positive.

We don’t know what substance Jones tested positive for, but we can now rule out some kind of freak false positive. USADA tested both samples he donated and replicated the results each time.

Jones has denied any wrongdoing and claims he never knowingly ingested any type of performance-enhancing substance. He now faces a possible two-year ban from the sport.

Since the UFC introduced a comprehensive anti-doping program in 2015, several top fighters have been caught using banned substances.
