The individual moment of glory was not be. Cristiano Ronaldo took a hit to his knee. He tried to continue but clearly could not run. Portugal had to substitute him off for Ricardo Quaresma in the 26th minute of the Euro 2016 Final against France.
Obviously, this is a blow for Portugal. It is a blow for Ronaldo, in what was the biggest international match of his career.
