Nick Saban Said Arresting Officers Were LSU Fans Per Paul Finebaum

Paul Finebaum questioned Nick Saban about his discipline (or lackthereof) of Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones. The two had a heated altercation off air. Paul Finebaum confirmed Saban said the police were LSU fans.

"“He indicated that the police were LSU fans, yeah,” Finebaum told The Advocate. “I think that’s accurate.”"

On air, Saban said he had “questions” about the way the arrests were handled.

Robinson and Jones were arrested in May on drug and weapons charges. The DA declined to pursue the charges in June because players worked and sweated while others were in the air conditioning. Robinson is Alabama’s starting left tackle and a potential first round draft pick.
