The 2016 Rio Olympics are coming. With the games just weeks away, so are the usual stories about how much sex the athletes will be having. For the 2012 London Olympics, Durex provided the Olympic Village with 150,000 free condoms. That number has apparently tripled for the impending Rio games as officials have reportedly ordered 450,000 condoms which would make the 2016 Olympics the most heavily condom-ed Olympics in history.

With more than 10,000 athletes in Rio, that’s roughly 42 condoms per athlete. The Olympics run from August 5th to August 21st. You don’t have to be a sexy mathematician to do that sex math. That’s like 6 doing-its a day for each person (assuming they work in pairs).
