Gold Glove Shortstops Alcides Escobar and Andrelton Simmons Try to Out-Gold Glove Each Other

Andrelton Simmons won the National League Gold Glove award in 2013 and 2014. Alcides Escobar won the American League Gold Glove award in 2015. Simmons now plays for the Angels so the two are going head-to-head for this year’s hardware.
Both stepped up their games on Tuesday night in Kansas City, taking away sure base-hits from their rival.
First, Escobar ranged deep into the hole and got Simmons with a long jump-throw. Simmons answered by making a nifty barehanded play on a slow tapper.
Just some solid shortstoppin’.
The Angels won, 13-0.
