VIDEO: Gritty Pirates Fan Flips Over Railing While Snagging Foul Ball

A fan at Wednesday night’s Seattle Mariners-Pittsburgh Pirates game made a fine defensive play on a Jung Ho Kang liner while toppling over a railing. He presumably landed on cement, but was okay. We know he was okay because a PNC Park vendor gave a world-class thumbs-up signaling as much.
The Pirates are 2.5 games out a wild-card spot. They’d be well-served to follow this youngster’s lead and lay it all on the line. Of course, that’s hard to keep up for 162 games.
