Yasiel Puig may be done with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ken Rosenthal is reporting the Dodgers left Puig at home on Monday as they flew to Colorado to take on the Rockies in a three-game series.

Puig reportedly left Dodger Stadium angry after he was told he would be traded or sent to the minor leagues. He wasn’t traded by Monday’s non-waiver deadline, which meant he was likely being demoted. The Dodgers decided to leave for their next series without him.

[UPDATE: Rosenthal now says that Puig did not leave the stadium, because he was never at the stadium. Rosenthal apologizes for the error.]

Los Angeles added outfielder Josh Reddick from the Oakland A's on Monday. Reddick is almost surely ticketed for right field to take over for Puig, who has had another disappointing season.

The 25-year-old Cuban defector has hit .260 this season with just seven home runs and 34 RBIs in 81 games. His .706 OPS and 0.5 fWAR are both career-lows.

Puig has two years and $14 million left on his contract after this season. At this point it would be shocking if he ever dons a Dodgers uniform again.
