This week NBA players’ social media exposed us to two things: Draymond Green’s penis and the basketball world’s love of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” For now we’ll focus on the music. “A Thousand Miles” was originally featured in Legally Blonde in 2001 and was such a big hit it was featured on Now That’s What I Call Music 10. So many years later, here are some NBA players singing it on an airplane.

This became blog news because Carmelo Anthony was not having any of it, while everyone else knew all the words.

After Team USA’s win over Nigeria on Monday, Melo was asked about the song. Turns out he does love it, he was just tired.

The reason he loves it is because of the 2004 movie White Chicks.

Terry Crews revisited the song earlier this year on Lip Sync Battle.

The song was previously covered by Michael Beasley and Henry Walker at the Miami Heat’s Battioke event in 2015. So is this a league-wide thing?
