Gisele Bundchen’s role in the Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony has been changed. Originally, she was supposed to be the “embodiment” of “The Girl From Ipanema.” Apparently, that also meant being “assaulted.” That part, which allegedly featured a young black boy from the slums, didn’t play so well at dress-rehearsal and will be changed according to a report. Presumably, Gisele will still be involved, but in a role that doesn’t remind the world of the crime that is plaguing Rio at the moment. Like the stuff happening to athletes. In the Olympic Village.
