Paulina Gretzky Slams Instagram Trolls Ripping Dustin Johnson Over Olympics

Dustin Johnson drew plenty of criticism after withdrawing from the Olympics. Johnson, who won the first major of his career and collected a second win in as many starts at the WGC-Bridgestone in June, had this to say about his withdrawal from the games:

"“This was not an easy decision for me, but my concerns about the Zika Virus cannot be ignored. Paulina and I plan to have more children in the near future, and I feel it would be irresponsible to put myself, her or our family at risk.” ” I believe I am making the right decision for me and most importantly, my family. While I am sure some will be critical of my decision, my hope is that most will understand and support it. That being said, those who choose to compete in Rio certainly have my respect and best wishes for a unforgettable and safe experience.”"

Then over the weekend Johnson’s fiancée Paulina Gretzky uploaded some pictures to Instagram and Snapchat of the two vacationing around the time of the opening ceremonies.

The pictures didn’t sit well with many fans who took to the comment section on the pictures to rip Johnson for not participating, but Paulina was having none of it and ripped into them.

She has a point.

The Olympics just aren’t for everyone.
