David Ortiz Fouled a Pitch Off His Leg and It's Not Looking Good

David Ortiz had to be helped off the field tonight after fouling a pitch off his lower leg, and it sounds like he’ll need to do more than walk it off.

It doesn’t look like much there, but Red Sox fans and the baseball media quickly adopted the tone of grave tragedy.
