Bartolo Colon Draws First Career Walk, Mets Still Lose
Bartolo Colon was 0-for-1 with a walk on Monday. Somehow, that wasn’t enough as the D-Backs beat the Mets, 10-6. It was Colon’s first career walk and what an accomplishment it was.
The final figure is now set on Colon’s latest footnote in baseball history: 281 career plate appearances before drawing a walk. What an athlete.
