Cincinnati Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton is the fastest player in Major League Baseball. That we knew. What we didn’t quite grasp is that there’s a human being alive capable of making the play he just made.
Hamilton covered an ungodly distance to track down a Carlos Beltran fly ball in deep left-center, laying out horizontal to snag it before it landed for extra bases.
