Carlos Beltran came over to the Texas Rangers from the New York Yankees before the trade deadline. His illustrious career speaks for itself. His new “hair,” however, leaves many questions unanswered.

The most pressing is … why?

It appears someone went to town with a Magic Marker or misused some eye black. Somewhere, Carlos Boozer is nodding approvingly.

This is not a look expected to catch on, and I hope it doesn’t.
