Bryce Alford Wiped His Hands on the Pants of a Female Ref During a UCLA Game in Australia

Bryce Alford scored 16 points in the UCLA Bruins win over the Brisbane Bullets later today in Australia. (Time zone joke!) Late in the game Alford had to wipe his hands so he chose to use the pants of a female referee who seemed to offer her her leg like it was common practice.

Is this not really, really weird? Especially considering it’s a female referee? Is this a cultural thing? Does Australia’s National Basketball League save money on laundry by telling players to dry their hands on the pants of referees instead of towels?
