DeMarcus Cousins Sponsoring Panel in Mobile to Strengthen Relationship With Police

DeMarcus Cousins is sponsoring an event this Saturday afternoon in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama entitled the Community Connection Panel. Per the event page, “discussion will center on strengthening relations among the police and the community.”

As always, it is worth pointing out that this is a two-way street. Who knows if anything will ultimately come of it, but from afar Cousins should certainly be applauded for using his influence to foster what will ideally be a productive dialog. It will be worthwhile to check out the press that comes out of this event over the weekend.
