Lamar Jackson is the early breakout star of the college football season. Opening week he threw 6 touchdown passes and ran for 2 more against Charlotte in the first half. Jackson slowed his scoring pace on Friday night in the Carrier Dome against Syracuse, running for 5 touchdowns and throwing another. In the first half. Jackson also set an ACC record with 610 total yards.

For those of you keeping score at home, that’s 13 touchdowns through two games. Or at least the four quarters he’s played. He’s completed 37 of 52 passes and thrown 7 touchdown passes. He’s scored 6 rushing touchdowns. 697 passing yards. 318 rushing yards.
