Jimmy Garoppolo is off to quite the start in his stint as the New England Patriots starting quarterback. On the team’s opening drive Sunday night, Garoppolo led the Patriots on an eight-play, 74-yard drive in 4:13 and capped it off with a 37-yard touchdown pass to Chris Hogan.

Tom who?

No, but seriously, Garoppolo looks like he belongs so far. Tom Brady’s replacement was 4-of-5 for 75 yards and a touchdown on that drive. He hit Julian Edelman three times for 37 yards and was in complete control the entire time against a phenomenal Arizona Cardinals defense.

It’s early but Garoppolo looks comfortable as the Pats’ starting quarterback.
