Possible NCAA Violations Have Followed Gabe Ikard to the NFL

Gabe Ikard had some very interesting compliance issues at the University of Oklahoma. First Ikard was involved in PastaGate where he and two teammates had to pay $3.83 to a charity when they ate too much pasta at a banquet. Then he and his girlfriend had to sign affidavits saying their relationship was real after they sat courtside at a bunch of Thunder games.

These days Ikard is on the Buffalo Bills practice squad after stops in Tennessee, Cleveland, and Detroit. It seems that wherever he goes, he just can’t shake the girlfriend or PastaGate. The couple are still together – possibly out of fear of NCAA sanctions – and now a restaurant chain wants to give him more free pasta.
