Greg Roman is the first casualty of the Buffalo Bills 0-2 start. The team has fired Roman according to Adam Schefter. The Jets beat the Bills on Thursday, 37-31. In week 1, all the way back on Sunday, the Bills scored just 7 points in a loss to the Ravens. Through two games, the Bills have just 553 yards of offense and are 29th in the league in yards per game.

Roman, who was the league’s highest paid offensive coordinator, was fired just 6 days into the Bills season which has to be a record. When you think about it, the Bills also have to have at least tied the record for the quickest 0-2 start in league history. What a remarkable, record-breaking team Rex Ryan has put together.

It should also be noted that Dennis Thurman’s defense has given up 400-yards per game so far, which is 24th in the league.

Edit: The post originally identified Rob Ryan as the defensive coordinator. Ryan is listed as “Assistant Head Coach/Defense.”

Update: Anthony Lynn is the new offensive coordinator.
