VIDEO: Oklahoma's Joe Mixon Drops Ball Before Reaching End Zone, Refs Fail to Notice

Oklahoma’s Joe Mixon broke off a 97-yard kickoff return touchdown to cut Ohio State’s lead to 14-7 in the first quarter. He did not actually carry the football over the goal line but the officials on the field and in the replay booth didn’t seem to notice.
The highly anticipated matchup of traditional powers was delayed by rain so perhaps everyone is just in a hurry to get the game over with. That’s one possible explanation for the lack of attention to detail.
