Bryan Stork, who was cut by the New England Patriots less than a month ago, is meeting with the injury-depleted Jets on Tuesday. Before cutting him, the Patriots tried to trade Stork to Washington, but he failed his physical. Stork has suffered at least 4 concussions in the last 4 years.

Normally when a division rival meets with or signs a player cut by a division rival, it’s to gather information, but the Jets are thin on the offensive line and don’t play the Patriots until week 12. Who knows who will be left standing for either team by Thanksgiving.

Stork suffered his latest concussion in early August and couldn’t pass a physical as recently as August 29th. The most surprising part of this story is that Bill Belichick didn’t hear about this and re-sign Stork so he could trade him to New York for a late round draft pick.
