Nathan MacKinnon Just Took Henrik Lundqvist's Soul With Incredible Goal

Nathan MacKinnon just scored one of the best goals I’ve ever seen in hockey. And he did it against a guy recognized as one of the best net-minders in the sport, Henrik Lundqvist. MacKinnon potted the overtime winner as Team North America topped Sweden in the World Cup of Hockey. The goal needs to be seen to be believed.

There’s no other word for that stick-handling than incredible.

Team North America won 4-3, but by reaching overtime Sweden cliched the top spot in Group B.

More importantly, the 21-year-old MacKinnon looks like he’s ready to emerge as a bona fide star for the Colorado Avalanche.
