Russell Westbrook Says He Hasn't Talked To Kevin Durant

Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant were teammates for eight years. In that time you’d assume they created a bond that would stick even if they eventually wound up on different teams.

Last month Durant claimed that he and Westbrook were “still cool” after he left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors this offseason. On Friday, Westbrook didn’t exactly agree with that claim.

At Thunder media day, Westbrook was asked if he was actually “still cool” with Durant and his response was shot and pointed. The 27-year-old OKC guard said, “I haven’t talked to him.” That was clearly all he wanted to discuss on that topic as he immediately turned his head to look for another question without elaborating.

Things could get interesting when the Thunder and Warriors square off on November 3 for the first time since Durant’s move to the Bay Area.
