Kenta Maeda and his interpreter Will Ireton must have a close bond, because Ireton was allowed in the clubhouse as the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their National League West title on Sunday.

Ireton seemed to be having a good time, but Maeda ensured it would be even more better, as he lifted him into a bucket filled with Budweiser, then started pushing him around the clubhouse.

You have to love when grown men act like children when celebrating. It’s truly one of the great parts of sports.

Maeda just finished his first major league season with a 16-9 record, a 3.20 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP. He’s been a rock for the Dodgers after being a five-time All-Star in Japan. He deserved to celebrate a little.
