Lady Gaga announced on Twitter that she will be performing during the Super Bowl LI halftime show.

The 30-year-old, six-time Grammy winner will hit the stage February 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston. After her fantastic performance of the national anthem at the 2016 Super Bowl it was obvious she was in consideration for the halftime show this year.

Given the way these things usually go, Gaga will likely perform some old hits and possibly one new song, while she’ll almost certainly invite some collaborators on stage with her. Safe bets for song choices would be Bad Romance, Just Dance, Poker Face and Edge of Glory. She could also continue her collaboration with Tony Bennett by inviting the 90-year-old crooner to join her for a duet.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this all plays out, since Lady Gaga is not a traditional, sports-related performer like some rock acts.
